Prepare for the scan

Your confirmation will specify case-specific requirements. Provide the relevant history, dated laboratory results and prior diagnostic imaging. Follow the supplied fasting and water instructions, prepare the requested clipping field and maintain bladder filling when indicated. A patent intravenous catheter is expected when injectable sedation or sampling is reasonably likely. Confirm owner consent and financial authority before arrival. Urgent or unstable patients require immediate veterinary reassessment.
